All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm *********************************************************** Pauline “Pat” Norwood, 66, of Malvern died Thursday, Sept. 7, 2006, at St. Vincent Infirmary Medical Center in Little Rock. She was born March 8, 1940, in Little Rock to Elber “Snooks” and Ozella Puckett Mullinax. Mrs. Norwood was reared and educated in Little Rock. She was an accountant for the state of Arkansas. A resident of Hot Spring County for the past nine years, she was a member of Malvern's First Baptist Church, where she was active in volunteer programs, including delivering Meals on Wheels. Crocheting, especially baby blankets for the underprivileged, was a favorite hobby. She became the wife of Perry Norwood in October 1997. She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her husband; four daughters, Wanda Lee Collie of Traskwood, Diana Kaye Lingo of Benton, Katherine Brady of Malvern and Felicia Norwood of Fort Smith; two sons, Clyde Allen III of Malvern and Perry Wayne Norwood Jr. of England, Ark.; three brothers, Bill Mullinax of Little Rock, Bobby Mullinax of Rogers and Calvin Mullinax of Fort Worth, Texas; five grandchildren, Eric Purtle, Angie Davis, Crissy Brady, Alia and Browyn Kisor; and two great- grandchildren, Dallas Davis and Travis Beckler. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at First Baptist Church in Malvern, with Dr. Verne Wickliffe officiating. Burial will be in Lone Hill Cemetery near Oak Grove. Visitation will be from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. Sunday at J.A. Funk Funeral Home in Malvern. Memorials may be made to the family life center of First Baptist Church in Malvern. The family will be at Mrs. Norwood's daughter's home at 4306 Everett Lane, off Arkansas 67, north of Glen Rose. Family comments: She always enjoyed helping and doing unto others. The matriarch of a blended family, she saw her husband's children from a previous marriage as her own, and their children as her own grandchildren.
