Betty Carolyn Robinson Overbey, 76, of Benton died Tuesday, July 18, 2006.

She was born Nov. 6, 1929, in Lawrenceburg, Tenn.

Mrs. Overbey worked 25 years for Goodyear and was a member of Benton's First
Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday school for many years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Myrtle Hill; and her first
husband, Doyle Robinson.

She is survived by her husband, Leonard Ray Overbey of Benton; one daughter,
Cathy Jo Dawson and husband Mark of Benton; one son, David W. Robinson and wife
B. J. of Sheridan; one brother, Thomas J. Hill and wife Neida of Little Rock;
one sister, Georgia Ann Schratz and husband Bruce of Little Rock; seven
grandchildren, Amanda Robinson, Julie Robinson, Lesley Lamb, LeAnn Ramsey and
husband Greg, Jill Dawson, Matthew Dawson and Lindsey Dawson; and two great-
grandchildren, Dawson and Chase Ramsey.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Ashby Funeral Home with Dr. Rick
Grant officiating. Burial will be in Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today night at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the Benton Senior Activity Center.
