All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm *********************************************************** David Gene Page Sr., 70, of Benton died Thursday, Aug. 3, 2006, in Benton. He was born July 8, 1936, in Little Rock to Carl Page and Ruth Hook Page. He was of the Baptist faith and a former employee of the Benton Service Center, where he worked in the laundry. One of his favorite pastimes was buying, selling and trading cars, but what he enjoyed most was fishing and taking care of his dogs. He was preceded in death by his wife, Orene Page; his parents; one sister, Ruby Manley; and two brothers, Brice Page and Bryant Page. Survivors include two sons, Robert Parker and wife Cathy of Fairplay and David Page Jr. and wife Shirley of Benton; three daughters, Debbie Taylor of Benton, Lynn Waggoner of Benton and Patty Meredith and husband Kenneth of Magnet Cove; two brothers, Carl Page Jr. of Morgan Hills, Calif., and George Page of Little Rock; three sisters, Vida Bolding and husband M.E. of Little Rock, Ona Johnson of Ferndale and Edna Mae Osborn of Alexander; two sisters-in-law, Mary Lou Page and Susie Page, both of Little Rock; 15 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. Graveside service will be at 9 a.m. today at Smith Creek Cemetery near Lonsdale, with the Rev. Nate Bienhoff officiating. Pallbearers will be Kenny Meredith, Robby Parker, Jim Cook, Jay Michael Warner, Ricky Threlkeld and Vernon Woodall. Visitation was Friday night at Atkinson Funeral Home in Malvern.
