Myrtle M. Pierce of Little Rock died on her 82nd birthday, Sunday, July 16,
2006.

She was born July 16, 1924, in Emmet in Nevada County to Samuel Edgar Jenkins
and Mary Jane Clark.

Mrs. Pierce was a longtime member of Temple Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 52 years, Erwin; two
brothers; and two sisters.

Survivors include two daughters, Karen Grant Whitfield and husband Tracy of
Houston, Texas, and Cheryl Greer and husband Kent of Benton; one grandson,
Morgan Whitfield of Houston; and two granddaughters, Carri and Jenna Greer of
Benton; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Temple Baptist Church, with Dr.
Martin Jameson officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Roller-Drummond Funeral Home.
