She was born June 16, 1923, in Conway, Mo., to Cassie and Gladyse Ruth Warren. Mrs. Richards was the owner of the Penthouse and Tops clothing stores in Benton and a member of Holland Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Judith Kay Graves Richards; two brothers, John Dea Warren and Cassie Leon Warren Jr.; and several nephews. Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Spagejo “Jack” Richards of Benton; one daughter, Jackie Richards Black and husband Wayne; three brothers, William James Warren and wife Bea, Jack Warren and wife Eloise and Dan Neil Warren and wife Shirlee; three sisters, Genieva Mae Harris and husband James, Dixie Ruth Mosley and husband Odis and Blanch Elaine Sherr and husband Norman; four grandchildren, Brandy Simpson Willis, Mandy Simpson Hawkins and Kelly and Casey Johnson; three great-grandchildren, Chelsea Pike, Brandon Allred and Paige Hawkins; one brother-in-law, Raymond Richards; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Holland Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will be in Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander. Pallbearers will be Wayne Black, Mike Richards, Doug Hawkins, Ken Hawkins, Roy Jeffus and Mike Kelloms. Honorary pallbearers will be Casey Johnson, Mark Martindale, Tim Finley, Wyatt Ferguson, Curtis Ferguson, Dick Mooney and Fred Briner. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today at Ashby Funeral Home.
