Benton, May 12. W. H. Scott. aged 72, retired farmer living on the Little Rock-
Hot Springs highway, three miles from here, died this morning. He was a member
of a well known Saline county family. His grandparents were early settlers in
Arkansas. He is survived by his wife and three daughters, Mrs. Frank Parsons of
Springfield, Mo., Mrs. Ethel Carty of North Little Rock and Mrs. Russell Stiff
of Ardmore, Okla. Funeral services will be held at the Methodist church here at
3:30 M. tomorrow by the Rev. T. M. Lee, pastor, and the Rev. J. L. Cannon of
Hope. Burial will be in Pine Crest Memorial park at Collegeville.
