Charles Albert Scudder

Charles Albert Scudder, 70, of Glen Rose died Monday, Oct. 2, 2006, in Little
Rock.

Mr. Scudder was born Dec. 15, 1935, in Wilmington, Calif., to Jesse Albert
Scudder and Agnes Jenkins Scudder.

He was a member of the Glen Rose Missionary Baptist Church, a retired bus driver
for the Benton Services Center (now Arkansas Health Center) and a Navy veteran.
His favorite pastime was riding his motorcycle.

He was preceded in death by his parents and stepfather.

Survivors include one son, Cary Scudder of Colorado; one grandson, Chris
Scudder; five cousins, JoAnn Corley of Glen Rose, J.W. Irwin and wife LeeAnn of
Glen Rose, Sharon Wilson and husband Don of Glen Rose, Rita Hathcock of Social
Hill and Fonda Lane and husband Bill of Magnet Cove; and other relatives and
friends.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Glen Rose Missionary Baptist
Church, with the Rev. Gary Copeland officiating. Burial will be in Fairplay
Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Atkinson Funeral Home in Malvern.
