All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm *********************************************************** David Charles Summers, 33, of Little Rock died Friday, July 21, 2006. He was born July 7, 1973 in Fort Wayne, Ind. Mr. Summers graduated from Parkview High School in 1991. He then began acting for the Historic Arkansas Museum in Little Rock. He and his close friend, Richard, wrote and directed seven original plays. He had been employed by Powers of Arkansas for the past 10 years and was a member of ABATE of Arkansas and of Calvary Chapel of Saline County. He was preceded in death by his father, Dr. Charles E. Summers; his grandparents, Marion and Wilma Duff; and his mother-in-law, Peggy Stone. Survivors include his wife, Rhonda Summers; his mother, Pat Summers; one brother, Bud Summers; one sister, Dawn Summers Long and husband Mark; seven nieces and nephews, Grayson, Bradley, Christyl, Christopher, Amber, Jamie and Kevin; and many other relatives and friends. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Griffin Leggett-Forest Hills Funeral Home, 10200 Arkansas 5 North in Alexander. Burial will be in Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 today at the funeral home. Family comments: David was known for his wonderful sense of humor, his smile and his big brown eyes. David was a genuine person, loyal friend, very kind hearted and a peacemaker.
