Louis Howard West

Louis Howard West died Friday, Sept. 29, 2006.

He was born Aug. 3, 1923, in Okolona.

He was a member of Wright's Chapel Baptist Church and the Odd Fellows Lodge, and
was retired from Reynolds Mining.

He is survived by a brother, Raymond West; two daughters Pat White and Karen
Nalley; a son-in-law Jeff Nalley; two granddaughters Jamie Kitchens and Cheryl
Williams; two grandsons Brett Nalley and T.C. White; five great-grandchildren;
and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Ann West; a grandson, Tommy
Lee White; a brother, Jack West; and five sisters, Lola Wright, Ruby Johnson,
Myrtle Frazier, Rosie Maynard and Martha Spickard.

Funeral service is scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday at Ashby Funeral Home. Burial
will be at New Rosemont Cemetery.

Visitation is set from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Family comments: Louis was a loving and devoted father and grandfather. He
leaves many cherished memories.
