Nancy West, 61, of Benton died Monday, Sept. 4, 2006.

She was born Sept. 14, 1944, in Benton to Malcolm and Mary Elrod.

Mrs. West was retired from the Saline County Health Department.

Survivors include her husband, Jackie West of Benton; one son, Charles West and
wife Sherri of Little Rock; one daughter, Carla Shaw and husband Lyle of Benton;
one brother, Bobby Elrod of Benton; two sisters, Hazel Vandergrift of Benton and
Sue Bittle of Darnell; two granddaughters, Hailey Rae Shaw and Tracie Danielle
Shaw.

The family will have a private memorial service at a later date. Arrangements
are under the direction of Ashby Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at 3419 Spurlock in Benton.
