John A. White, aged seventy - five years, died at the home of his son Mont
White, at El Dorado, July 11. He was born and reared near Haskell, and was a son
of one of he pioneer residents, Wm. White, of this county.

He is survived by five sons. Mont White, El Dorado; Jim White, Cleveland, Ohio;
Vester White. Columbus, Ohio; Edgar and Clinton of Wyoming; one daughter, Jewel
of Columbus, Ohio; five sisters, Mrs. B. F. Allen Haskell; Mrs. W. H. Collatt,
Benton; Mrs. Will Ray, Long Beach Calif.; Mrs. Leo Stearman. Haskell; and Mrs.
Nancy Dowdy, of Idaruth, Texas; one brother, George White, of Haskell. Interment
was at Mt. Harmony cemetery on July 12 at three 'clock, services conducted by
Rev. J. G. Cothran.
