Nell Watson Wiggins, 81, of Sugar Hill, Ga., died Friday, Oct. 6, 2006.

She was born Jan. 12, 1925, in Beebe to Guy and Kate Watson.

Mrs. Wiggins served her country by working in a munitions plant during
World War II, as well as serving with the USO. She and her husband were
leaders in the local Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints
congregations. She was the first Stake Relief Society president in Arkansas.

She was preceded in death by her husband, O.W. "Pete" Wiggins Sr.; and
one son, O. W. "Pete" Wiggins Jr.

Survivors include one son, Geoffrey Wiggins and wife Luann of Roswell,
Ga.; one daughter, Lori Jernigan of Sugar Hill, Ga.; eight
grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Pinecrest Memorial Park
in Alexander.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Ashby Funeral Home in
Benton.
