Mary Joann Wooten, 61, of Benton died Wednesday, July 26, 2006, at Baylor
Medical Center in Dallas.

She was born Oct. 17, 1944, in Dallas.

Mrs. Wooten was a member of Spring Creek Baptist Church in Benton. She was
employed at AT&T.

Survivors include her husband, James Wooten; two children, Rita Bryant of Benton
and Mark Wooten of Benton; two grandchildren, Lacey Bryant and Kyle Bryant; two
sisters, Nancy Philpott and Judy Cumby, both of Dallas; one brother, Brad Sims
of Sander, Texas; numerous other relatives and a host of friends.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. today at Ellis Chapel in Wister, Okla., with
the Revs. Jack Covey and Carl Richey officiating. Burial will be in Ellis Chapel
Cemetery in Wister. Pallbearers will be Robert Wooten, Gary Wooten, Lonnie
Wooten, Donnie Wooten, Kyle Bryant and Randy Duvall.

Arrangements are under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home in Poteau,
Okla.
