All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm *********************************************************** Hoyt Yarberry of the Ico community in Grant County died Tuesday, Aug. 15, 2006, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born June 25, 1950, in Hensley to Charlie Yarberry and Goldie Spann Yarberry Thomas. Mr. Yarberry was a master carpenter and cabinetmaker by trade. He was an avid racing fan, driving for CDH Racing Team, owned by Dickie Haynes. He was a hunter and skydiver. He was a member of Lone Pine Baptist Church at Hensley. He was preceded in death by his parents; a stepfather, Tom Thomas; and two sisters, Goldman Krank and Lola Mae Yarberry. Survivors include his wife of 20 years, Betty McKown Yarberry; one daughter, Paula Mitchell of Hensley; one granddaughter, Ashley Mitchell; two brothers, Rick Yarberry of Center Ridge and Randy Yarberry of Sheridan; four sisters, Patsy Culp of Benton; Donna Brown of Sheridan; Ola Russenberger of Little Rock and Ethel Smith of Bonnerdale; one uncle, J.R. Spann of Hensley; and countless friends and loved ones. A memorial service will be at 7 p.m. Friday at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home in Sheridan, with the Rev. Al Michael officiating. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the service held during the visitation. Memorials may be made to the American Red Cross.
