A. Dortch, late of the County of Saline, deceased of the same hath come to the hands of Mahala Dortch, widow, of all and the singular the goods and chattles rights and credits of said S. A. Dortch, deceased, to wit 2 cows and 1 calf, 1 mule, 1 wagon and harness, i lot of plows, 1 box of irons, 1 handsaw, 1 dressing knife, 2 augers, 1 lot of books, 1 axe, 2 weeding hoes, 1 set of blowgear, and 2 half bushels. I, Mahala Dortch, widow of S. A. Dortch, des’d, do solemnly swear that the foregoing is a full inventory and description of all the moneys, goods, chattles, books, papers, and evidences of debt and of all debts due or becoming due to said S. A. Dortch, as far as I have been able to ascertain them and that I was not bound in any contract to said S. A. Dortch at the time of his death, so help me God. McDonals, being each householders in the county of Saline, having been called on by Mahala, widow of S. A. Dortch, deceased, to appraise the personal estate of said S. A. Dortch, do each solemnly swear that we are not interested nor kin to any person interested in said estate or heir or legatees and that we will according to the best of our abilities view and appraise the personal property of said estate to us produced so help us God.
