Pictures were included with these short biographies. CONDRY, Silas "Pete": Silas "Pete" Condry was born December 21, 1899 to Monroe and Anna (Suddeth) Condry, near Mansfield. He attended school at Rock Creek and at Mansfield. Pete never married. He is a World War I veteran, and worked for the Rock Island and Frisco Railroads for years. Pete enjoys reading, and has had one of the finest gardens in Mansfield for many years. He is a lifelong resident of Scott County.
