Her parents were originally from Germany and settled in Johnson County, Arkansas in 1886. She had two brothers, William and Henry Waltman and a sister, Emma (Waltman) Daniels. The Waltman family moved to Mena in 1904, where Martha met and married her husband, the late James G. Fuller in 1920. The Fullers had no children. A hard worker, Martha assisted her parents in the operation of a dairy farm and worked as a private secretary for the former Kelly Stratton Co. of Mena. When first admitted to Pinewood Nursing Home, she roomed with her sister Emma. In 1984 she participated in the District 2 Nursing Home's Queen Pageant and was awarded the title "Ms. Pretty Hair." She is still very active in Nursing Home and community affairs, and is a member of the Lutheran Church.
