Southwest American 
Laid to Rest- The funeral of the late C. Ahrens took place from the residence 
523 North Twelveth Street at 2 o'clock Thursday and at 3 o'clock from the 
luthern church Rev. Bartells officiated. The burial was in oak cemetery. The 
pall bearers were S.A Williams L.A Deden,John Rentzel,Henry Hoffman,T.F 
Grober,John Schaap,Frank Grober,and Captain Mehlberger.

His obit was in the Southwest American on the Jan 21,1910
