Robert Ferrie, Jr

Robert C. Ferrie, Jr., 68, of Fort Smith, died June 5, 2006 in Fort Smith. He
was a Retired Bank and Intercompany Communications Supervisor working for both
Superior Federal Saving and Loan and Arvest Banks, he served in the Air National
Guard and he was of the Presbyterian Faith, where he served as both a Deacon and
an Elder.
  He is survived by his wife Merrilee of the Home; two daughters, Michele Alissa
and her husband Patrick Young of Greenwood and Catherine Anne and her husband
Eric Bass of Tega Cay, South Carolina; one sister, Mary Lou and her husband Chet
Love of Bakersfield, CA; one grandson, Joseph Crawford Bass; niece Debi
O'Connell and nephew Steven Love and numerous other nieces and nephews.
  Graveside service s will be Thursday, June 8, 2006 at 1:00 PM in the Oak
Cemetery with burial to follow under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
  Pallbearers will be Chet Love, Patrick Young, Eric Bass, Buford Latta, Joe
Wewers, and Manuel Ocasio.
  The family will greet friends from 5-7 PM Wednesday at Edwards Funeral Home.
