WILLIAM JAMES HAILEY / LUCRETIA JANE (ROSS) HAILEY

William James Hailey married Lucretia Jane (Ross)  on September 5th 1876.  
W.J. Hailey's mother and father started the first boarding house or hotel 
in Berryville, Ark. There were 4 other boys in the Hailey family. Alphonso,
Newton, Allen and Jeff. These men held many positions in the making of early 
Berryville.  W.J. owned the local newspaper, they ran the Hailey Post office 
near  Cassville, a brick plant, livery stable , they were sherriffs and 
farmers.
