These electronic pages cannot be reproduced in any format for profit or other presentation. ____________________________________________________________ IL3 ALMEDIA VICTORIA BEAVERS was born December, 1893 the daughter of George William and Mary Eizabeth Reynolds Beavers. Her place of birth was near Magazine in Logan County, Arkansas. The family moved to Hattieville near Morrilton in Conway County, Arkansas. Her parents died when " Kelly" was young and her sister Don Beavers Williams reared her. In about 1916 she lived with a Mr. and Mrs. Young on White Oak mountain in Van Buren County. "Kelly" was caretaker of the Young household as Mrs. Young was a cripple. On January 6, 1917 she secretly married Joe Person. They later announced the wedding and left the mountain. Her only son, Joe Pate Person, Jr., was born January 16, 1918 in Little Rock. They moved to Carden Bottom in 1918 and lived until 1937 and then they moved to Hayti, Missouri and bought land. "Kelly" was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Carden Bottom Chapter #240. She was also a member of the Baptist Church. Died March 6, 1970.
