lL8  ETHEL CHISM PERSON was a native of Carden Bottom, Yell County, Arkansas 
and born in 1909. She was the daughter of  Charlie and   Virgie Milligan Chism. She 
attended school in Carden Bottom and was a housewife.
     
The Chisms and Persons lived neighbors at New Hall 1925-1929.
    
 Ethel and  James Person were married January 27, 1930.  James Edward Person, Jr. was 
born October 24, 1930 (D10).
    
The Chism family,  Charlie,  Virgie,  Eathel,  Osco,  Floyd and  Jewell moved to 
California after 1930. They were all members of the Church of Christ.
    
 Eathel married  Soda Morris, another Carden Bottom resident. She had children by 
Morris and J. E. Jr. was reared by his grandparents in California.
