Mrs. Bessie P. Jackson, aged 75, of Heber Springs, wife of Jessie L Jackson, died Monday. She was a Baptist. Other survivors are five sons, Vendal and Howard H Davis, both of El Paso, Carvan F. Davis of Clarksville, Faborn Davis of Searcy and C. L. Davis of Kalamazoo, Michigan; two daughters, Mrs. Juanita Smith of El Paso and Mrs. Alice Faye Beatty of Athens, Michigan; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Joyce Graham of Richmond, CA., and Mrs. Wilma Jean Smith of Pittsburgh, CA., three brothers, Cecil and Joe Bates of Altheimer; five sisters. Mrs. Susie Ward and Mrs. Jessie Skinner, both of Quitman, Mrs. Melanda Harrison of Ward, Mrs Ruby Fulmer of Cabot and Mrs Ella Mae Smith of Beebe, 28 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren. Funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Center Point Church near Quitman (Cleburne County). Burial will be at Center Point Cemetery by Olmstead Funeral Home here.
