GERALD JAMES THACKER

Gerald James Thacker, the son of James and Grace (Gracie May Tanner)
Thacker was born on May 2, 1929, in Smithville, Ar. His parents, met
and married in Bell City, Mo. 1929. His Father James (Jim) Thacker died
from typhoid fever in the fall of 1929.  His mother Grace, married
Jim's brother, Oscar Oren (Jack) Thacker when Gerald was about 13
months old.  Gerald Has 13 brothers and sisters.  Their names are as
follows:  Floredia born about 1931, brother Charles born about 1935,
sister Deloris, sister Lovedia, brother Mark, brother Connie, brother
Harold Jean, sister Shirly, brother, sister Loreetta, brother Richard,
sister Joyce born 1950, sister Linda Fern born 1954.  Gerald served in
the army during the occupation of Japan.  He met and married Marie
Wombles while on leave in Indiana.  They were married Sept 6, 1949.
They had seven children. David Owen, born Aug. 25, 1950, Danny Joe,
born Aug 27, 1951, Johnny Lee, born 1953, Jessie Sue, born Mar 14,
1954, Robert Allen , born Aug 17, 1955, Roy born Oct 29. 1958, Gerald
James Jr. born 1960.

Gerald James and Marie Thacker still reside in Smithville, AR
