J. E. "Chink" Dews of Forrest City, manager of Arkansas Power & Light Co. 's
Eastern Division, is a veteran of 27 years with the firm. He joined the firm in
Stuttgart in 1925, and became manager their in 1937. Mr. Dews is a member of the
Presbyterian church, the Rotary Club, and the Chamber of Commerce. Mrs. Dews is
the former Virginia Lousie Tallman, they have a son and two daughters.
