Mrs. Emily Patterson grew up in an insurance family as the daughter of Mr. &
Mrs. H. A. Knight. Her father is one of the owners of the Taylor-Knight-King
Insurance Agency here. She is a member of the Episcopal church, she is first
Vice President of the Delphian Club, and served as chairman of the safety
committee in the PTA from 1949 to 1952, and as Treasurer in 1943. Mr. & Mrs.
Patterson have one son.
