(Pat) Patterson organized and formally opened the Patterson Insurance Agency in the Mann Building in Forrest City. In the not too distant future, Pat and his wife, the former Emily Knight of Forrest City, and their son Jerry, who is a now attending the University of Arkansas, hope to be in a new building on Washington and Dillard Street. Pat came here 23 years ago from Conway, and was born at Mountatin View. He attended Hendrix College and the University of Arkansas. He is a member of the Methodist church, the Young Business Men's Club, the Rotary Club, a 32nd degree Mason and a member of the Shriner's Hosptial for Crippled Children.
