Rich, lumberman, alderman, church leader, civic worker, family man, and singer. He is affectionately known as "Uncle Wally". His wife, the charming Stella Rush of this city, and have three daughters. Raleigh came to this city 28 years ago from Colt. He graduated at Forrest City High School. He is chairman of the Presbyterian Church Board, Board of Deacons, Superintendent of Sunday School, teacher, choir member; past President of the Lions Club and Band Parents Club, past Master of Masonic Lodge; alderman for Ward Three; and member of YBMC and Crowley's Ridge Square Dance Club.
