Graves, and his mother, Mrs. Troy Watkins, is Chandler, the younger son, who joined the firm in 1946 after three years in the SP2-U. S. Navy during World War II. He had enlisted in 1943 while working for the Lockheed Aircraft Corp. in California. He was born in Stuttgart and finished high school there and then worked with his mother in the Merchants Cooperative Delivery. In 1940 he married MIss Dorothy Schmid, daughter of Mrs. King (Sanderson) Schmid and the late Elbert Schmid. To this union had been born two children. He is a member of the Chamber of Commerce, Forrest City Country Club, and the King-Beazley American Legion Post. He also has other business interests in the city.
