George Bargery Dies; Services To Be ThursdayFuneral services for George Henry
Bargery, 71, of Pine Tree, who died early Tuesday afternoon in a hospital at
Searcy, will be held at 2 p. m. Thursday in Pine Tree Baptist Church. Rev. Andrew
Jackson will conduct the services. Burial will be in Barnishaw Cemetery at Pine
Tree under direction of Stevens Funeral Home. Born Nove. 10, 1895, in Shelby
County, Tenn., Mr. Bargery was the osn of Mrs. Ida Gibson Bargery and G. H. 
Bargery. He lived in Oakville, Tenn., before moving to Arkansas in 1933. A
farmer and a member of Pine Tree Baptist Church, he moved to Pine Tree 11 years
ago. He had been in failing health since January and in critical condition for
two weeks. Mr. Bargery is survived by his wife, Mrs. Birdie Zachary Bargery, 
(d. 1995), whom he married in 1917; four sons, three daughters,; and three
sisters.
