Mr. Evans is survived by his wife, Mrs. Neoma Evans; two daughters, Mrs. G. D. Chambers and Miss Jewel Evans, city; one son, Walter Evans, city, one sister, Mrs. Mary Miracle, Dallas, Texas, and two brothers George Evans, Palm Beach, Fla. and Jim Evans, Huntsville, Ark. Remains are at the family home and will be taken to Fleeman Funeral Home about noon Wednesday where service will be conducted at 3 p.m.; burial Memorial Park Cemetery. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- William Evans, Employe of Quaker Oats Plant, Died William Evans, 52 years old, eight years a night watchman at the Quaker Oats plant, died at 3 o'clock Monday afternoon at his home, 2001 South Fourteenth Street. He had lived here seventeen years. His former home was in Madison, Ark. Mr. Evans is survived by his wife, Mrs. Neoma C. Evans; two daughters, Miss Jewell EVans, at home, and Mrs. G. D. Chambers, St. Joseph; a son, Walter Evans, also of St. Joseph; a sister, Mrs. May Miracle, Dallas, Texas, and two brothers, George Evans, Palm Beach, Fla., and Jim Evans, Huntsville, Ark.
