Mrs. H. A. Ferrell Dies In Memphis; Rites Today.
Mrs. Blanche Ferrell, 87, who lived in Forrest City for many years, died at 10:
30 o'clock Tuesday morning at Oakville Memorial Hospital in Memphis. She had
been a hospital patient for about a month. Mrs. Ferrel was born in Coldwater,
Mississippi on November 28, 1877, and was the daughter of Bettie McSwine and
William Wynne. Her husband, Hamlett A. Ferrell, died in 1913. Mrs. Farrell had
lived in Memphis for the past 10 years. She leaves four sons, LIVING; and two
grandchildren. Services will be held at 2 p. m. Thursday at Stevens Funeral
Home, with Dr. Comer Hastings, and the Rev. Lester Nance officiating. Burial
will be in City Cemetery.
