IN COAST ARTILLERY CORPS-WWII HUNTLEY, WILLIAM 2/2/1909-9/14/1966 HUGHES Cemetery Huntley Rites Will Be Held At 2 Friday. Funeral services for William "Bill" Huntley, 57, a Memphis resident who died early today in St. Joseph's Hospital there, will be held at 2 p. m. in Stevens Funeral Home here. Rev. Lester Nance will conduct the services. Burial will be in Hughes Cemetery. Mr. Huntley had been ill for over a year. He had been hospitalized in critical condition for three weeks. Born Feb. 2, 1903, in Memphis, he was the son of Ruby Clark Huntley and the late Charles Walker Huntley. He operated a business machine repair service and at the time of his death resided at 1185 North Bellevue. Mr. Huntley was a World War II veteran and a member of the Methodist church. A life-long resident of Memphis, in 1951 he married Mrs. Ruby Montgomery Batts of Forrest City. In addition to his wife and his mother, Mr. Huntley is survived by a stepson, LIVING of Forrest City; a stepdaughter, LIVING of Memphis; a brother, LIVING. of Memphis; three sisters; and four grandchildren.
