2/20/1967 Gene Rolfe's Rites To Be Here Wednesday
Funeral services for Gene Rolfe Jr., 64, of near Parkin, will be held Wednesday
at 2 p. m. at Stevens Funeral Home here by Rev. David Kribbs and Rev. Ben
Rowell. Burial will be in Mt. Vernon Cemetery. Mr. Rolfe, died Monday afternoon
at his farm home near Parkin. He had been hospitalized for about a month, but
his death came suddenly die to a heart attack. A native of Forrest City, he was
the son of Annie Burford Rolfe and Sam A. Rolfe. He was a member of a pioneer
family in the area with interests in both farming and cattle. He was a member of
the Presbyterian Church. He is survived by one nephew, LIVING of Forrest City.
The family requests that memorials in Mr. Rolfe's name be sent rather than
flowers.
