Services Tonight for Mrs. Louise Schellhous, 84-Mrs. Louise Schellous, aged 84,
died Tuesday afternoon at Forrest Memorial Hospital, where she had been
critically ill for the past two weeks, and confined to her bed for about the
same length of time. Mrs. Schellous was born August 8, 1883 in Lafayette,
Indiana, the daughter of Elizabeth Zink Kirkhoff and Albert Kirkhnoff. She had
lived the past fifty years in Forrest City. Mrs. Schellhous was a housewife and
a communicant of the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, where she was
organist for twenty years, and very active in church work. She was married in
1913 to Harry E. Schellhous. He survives her along with one son, LIVING of
Cincinnati, Ohio; and two daughters, LIVING, and six grandchildren. Rosary
services for Mrs. Schellhous will be held at Stevens Funeral Home Thursday
evening at 8: 30. Requiem mass will be held Friday morning at 9 a. m. at the St.
Francis of Assisi Church with the Rev. Father John Barnes in charge of services.
Burial will follow in Forrest Park Cemetery.
