May 24, 1968: Mrs. Woodall Dies; Services Held Today
Funeral services for Mrs. Martha Ann Woodall, 77, who died Friday in Forrest
Memorial Hospital, were held at 2 today at Stevens Funeral Home. Rev. J. C.
Wells conducted the services. Burial was in Hughes Cemetery. Mrs. Woodall was
born at Eupora, Miss., on Sept. 28, 1890, the daughter of Mrs. Emily Girline
Williams White and Jonathan Richard White. She had lived in the Forrest City
area since 1919. Her husband Ben Woodall, whom she married in 1906, died in
1940. Mrs. Woodall is survived by two daughters, LIVING; a sister, Mrs. Eva
Freeman of Cherry Valley; two brothers, Richard White of Tutwiler, Miss., and
Henry White of Rolling Fork, Miss.; six grandchildren and 17 great
grandchildren.
