7/23/1968 Bobby Wright's Services To Be At 2 Thursday.
Funeral services for Robert L. "Bobby" Wright, 50, of West Helena, who died
suddenly Tuesday evening in a Helena hospital of a heart attack, will be held at
2 p. m. Thursday in the Church of the Good Sheperd here. Rev. Phil Leach will
conduct the services. Burial will be in Mt. Vernon Cemetery under direction of
Stevens Funeral Home. Mr. Wright was born April 3, 1918, here, the son of Mrs.
Alleyne Rollwage Wright and Edwin Price Wright. He spent his life here before
moving to West Helena 12 years ago. A cotton buyer, he was a member of St.
John's Episcopal Church at West Helena. He also was a veteran of World War II.
Mr. Wright is survived by his wife, Mrs. LIVING Wright, whom he married 30 years
ago; a son, LIVING. of Pine Bluff; two daughters, LIVING; his mother, Mrs.
Alleyne White of Holly Grove; a brother, LIVING of Memphis; a stepbrother,
LIVING, and a stepsister, LIVING both of Ann Harbor, Mich.; and two
grandchildren. The family requests that contributions be made to the Heart Fund
in lieu of flowers.
