Mrs. Olive Gregory, 68, Rt. 1, Forrest City died Thursday night at Forrest
Memorial Hospital. She has been in the hospital seriously ill for the past four
months. Born September 25, 1902, in the Parrott Community, north of Forrest
City, she was the daughter of Mrs. Clementine Satterfield Harris and James
Harper Harris. She had spent most of her life in Forrest City, with the
expection of 12 years she lived in Tennessee. She was a school teacher and an
active member of the Methodist Church. She was a member of Delta Kapa Gamma
teaching sorority. Married to John Dodsen Gregory 43 years, he survivers her
alongwith one daughter, Pat Gregory of Houston; one brother, Living of Forrest
City; one sister, Living of Memphis. Funeral services will be held at the First
Methodist Church at 2 p. m. Saturday with Dr. Earl Hughes in charge of services.
Burial will follow in the Forrest Park Cemetery. Stevens Funeral Home is in
charge.
