Gross, Dies Suddenly. Funeral services for Gene Gross, administrator of Forrest Memorial Hospital, were held today. Gross, aged 41, died Saturday around 9 p. m. at Forrest Hemorial after suffering a heart attack while working in his yard earlier. He had been administrator of the hospital since 1971 and was a member of the board of directors of the Arkansas Hospital Association. Prior to assuming present duties, Gross served as assistant administrator of Forrest Memorial for five years. Gross was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Forrest City. He was past president of the Forrest City Rotary Club. Born June 3, 1935, Gross resided here at 403 Hightland. He was the son of Mrs. Jennie Belle Baker Gross and the late Mr. Maurice L. Gross. He had liveD in Forrest City all his life. Survivors include his wife, Living, whom he married in 1957; a son, Living; a daughter, Living,, both of the home; his mother, Mr. s Maurice L. Gross of Forrest City; a sister, Mrs. James Devazier of Jonesboro; and his grandmother, Mrs. W. J Baker of Forrest City. Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. Merle Allison Johnson at Stevens Funeral Home with burial following in the Forrest Park Cemetery.
