Mr. Elmo Hobbs age 62, of Benton, died Monday, Nov. 2, 1987 at Saline Memorial
Hospital in Benton. Mr. Hobbs had been in poor health for the past five years.
He was born May 29, 1925 in Wheatley, a son of Harry Hobbs and Ora Lee Kirk
Hobbs. He made his home in Lee County most of his life. He was a retired
electrical maintenance worker and a U. S. Navy Veteran and a Baptist. In 1948 he
married Robbie Busby, who survives him. He leaves a son, Living of Benton; two
daughters, Living of Covington, VA. and Living of Little Rock; and three
grandchildren. Funeral services were scheduled for Wednesday, November 4 at
Stevens Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Larry Wilson officiating assisted by Rev.
Ray Hollis. Burial will follow in Forrest Park Cemetery under the direction of
Stevens Funeral Home.
