Cora E. Dandredge Mosley, 74, died Wednesday, December 23, at Helena Regional
Medical Center. She was a resident of Lee County and a homemaker. She was a
member of Mt. Zion M. B. Church where she was a Sunday School teacher. She also
was an Associate Matron of Starlight Chapter #73. She is survived by her
husband, Living; six children, Living, both of Chicago, Living, both of Little
Rock, Living of Kensett and Living of Farmers Branch, TX; a daughter, Living of
Chicago; 18 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; one brother, Willie Jakes;
and five sisters, Betty Chatman, Elizabeth James, Evangelist S. Pearl Sanders,
Callie B. Adams, all of Chicago and Celestine Jakes of Los Angeles. Funeral
services were held Saturday, January 2, at 11 a. m. at Second Baptist M. B.
Church in Marianna with Rev. Daryl K. Dandredge officiating. Burial followed at
Mt. Zion M. B. Church Cemetery. Pallbearers were Leon D. Dandredge, Andrea
Dandredge, Elliot L. Taylor, Ricky Jones, Leroy Shackleford, Calvin Rachel and
Lacy Wells. Honorary pallbearers were deacons of Mt. Zion M. B. Church.
Arrangements were handled by Marianna Funeral Home.
