LOUGHRIDGE CEMETERY

Mama Patterson was loved by all who knew her. She loved to go to church and read
her bible. She shared her faith with everyone she came in contact with. She lost
her husband many years before her death and the youngest daughter built her a
two room house next to hers where she lived until her daughter's (Beulah) death.
She then cared for her oldest daughter (Delia) until her death and then moved
near her middle daughter (Nellie) until she was unable to care for herself and
finally to the hospital... never wanting to be moved to a nursing home... she
only lived a few hours in the nursing home where she died. Her funeral was at
the Parkin Baptist Church and she was buried in Loughridge Cemetary near Village
Creek, AR next to her husband's parents. Note: Daughter of William P. and Ellen
Icel Wise-Wright, wife of Robert Lee Patterson, daughters Delia Minerva, Beulah
T. and Nellie Mae. Robert Lee Patterson and Maude Wright were married on
December 22, 1912.
