MARIANNA MEMORIAL Cemetery

Graveside services for Edward "Ed" Moss SPAIN of Marianna were held Thursday,
October 12, 1989 at 11 a. m. at Marianna Memorial Park with Rev. Mike Montalbano
officiating. Roller-Citizen were in charge of the arrangements. Spaine, age 100,
died Tuesday, October 10, 1989 at Baptist Hospital in Forrest City. He was a
member of First Baptist Church of Marianna, and was formerly by Stevenson and
Hill Dry Goods Company and worked at the Marianna Post Office as clerk,
assistant postmaster, and postmaster. He owned and operated the Plymouth Agency
and Spaine Furniture Company. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Inez Womble Spaine of
Marianna; one son, Edward Moss Spaine, Jr.; three grandchildren; six great
grandchildren, and four great great grandchildren. The family request that
memorials be made to the First Baptist Church in Marianna in lieu of flowers.
