BARNISHAW Cemetery

Ralph L. Walker, 77, of Forrest City, died Sunday, Dec. 27, 1999, at Baptist
Central Hospital in Memphis. He was born June 3, 1922, in Paragould to John and
Ollie Walker and lived in St. Francis County most of his life. He was retired
from Yale Hoist, a veteran of World War II, member of the VFW, American Legion,
DAV and attended Bethel Missionary Baptist Church. He married Floy Aldridge in
1947, and she survives him along with a daughter, Carolyn Breeson of
Hendersonville, Tenn.; two brothers, Louis Walker of West Memphis and Earl
Walker of Cord; one sister, Violet Woods of Paragould; two grandchildren and one
great-grandchild. Services were held on Tuesday, Dec. 28, 1999, with burial in
Barnishaw Cemetery. Stevens Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
