CLAUDE LOFTIN BANNON
12 23 1932-1 8 1993

Mr. Claude Loftin Bannon of Forrest City died Friday, Jan. 8, 1993, at Baptist Memorial
Hospital-Forrest City. He was 60. Mr. Bannon was born Dec. 23, 1932, in Jonesboro, to
Claude R Bannon and Ella Mae Loftin Bannon. He lived in Forrest City most of his life, was
a veteran of the Korean War, and retired from Yale Industrial Products in 1988. In
addition to his mother of Southaven, Miss., Mr. Bannon is survived by his wife, Zenda
Logan Bannon of the home; two sisters, Ida Womack of Lake City and Jeanne Sossaman of
Corpus Christi, Texas; two brothers, Joe Bannon of Grenada, Miss., and Chuck Bannon of
Southaven. Funeral services were held Sunday, Jan 10, at 2pm at Stevens Funeral Home
Chapel with the Rev. Glenn Pettus officiating, assisted by the Rev. Huey Woods. Burial
followed in Hughes Cemetery under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home.
