MITTIE MCCRARY BARTON
9 23 1909-5 4 1993

Mrs. Mittie McCrary Barton of Sherwood died Tuesday, May 4, 1993 at her home. She was 83.
Mrs. Barton was born Sept 23, 1909 in Forrest City, the daughter of Milus R McCrary and
Victoria Labitha Kirby McCrary. She had made her home in Forrest City most of her life
where she was a housewife and a member of the First United Methodist Church. She was
preceded in death by her husband, Charles Barton Jr in 1961. She is survived by seven
nieces and three nephews. Graveside servicers will be held Thursday, May 6 at 2 pm at Mt
Vernon Cemetery with the Rev Edward Roundtree officiating. Stevens Funeral Home is in
charge of arrangements.
