Mrs. Ethel Ulen Bell of BelAir MD died Tuesday, Feb 9, 1993 at her home. She was 87. Mrs.
Bell was born April 7, 1905 in Ridgeley TN to Courtney Bert Ulen and Nora Forbus Ulen. She
had lived in Forrest City, where she was a registered nurse and a member of Calvary
Baptist Church, until moving to Maryland. She was preceded in death by her husband Arthur
Bell in 1962. She leaves two daughters, Luella Lewis Dickey of Macon GA and Jane Bell
Hawkins of BelAir; two sons, Jack Ulen Lewis of Forrest City and Billy Bert Lewis of Hot
Springs; and seven grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Friday, Feb 12 at 11 am at
Calvary Baptist Church in Forrest City with Bro. Richard Courtney officiating. Burial will
be in Oakland Cemetery in Bradford, Ark. At 3 pm Friday. Stevens Funeral Home will be in
charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to Calvary Baptist
Church of Forrest City.
