DOSSIE L BLANCHETT SR
8 18 1918-4 27 1993

Mr. Dossie L. Blanchett Sr of Forrest City died Tuesday, April 27, 1993 at Baptist
Memorial Hospital-Forrest City. He was 74. Mr Blanchett was born Aug 18, 1918 in Wynne. He
leaves five sons, Dossie L Blanchett Jr of Hope, Artis Blanchett of Mt Clemens, Mich,
George Blanchett of San Diego, Larry Blanchett Hudson of Dallas and Clifton Blanchett of
Los Angeles; six daughters, Erma Lane of Chicago, Ethel Brinker of Caldwell, Patrie
McDaniel OF Colt, Dorothy Bell of Mt Clemens and Wanda Blanchett and Angie Swopes, both of
Little Rock; two sisters, Charlene Rucker and James Anna Crawford, both of Wynne; and 45
grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 1 at
1 pm at Mt Sinai M.B. Church in Caldwell with the Rev James McClendon officiating. Burial
will be in Clark Cemetery under the direction of Clay Funeral Home. Visitation will be
held Friday, April 30 from 10:30 am to 5 pm at Clay Funeral Home.
