HAMPTON BONNER
12 8 1908-4 15 1993

Mr. Hampton Bonner of Forrest City died Thursday, April 15, 1993 at Baptist Memorial
Hospital-Forrest City. He was 84. Mr Bonner was born Dec 8, 1908 in Louisville, Miss, to
Willie and Sarah Bonner. He lived in Forrest City most of his life where he was a member
of Taylor’s Chapel C.M.E. Church. He was retired from the Forrest City Federal Compress.
He is survived by his wife Dollie Mae Bonner of Forrest City; one brother, Charlie Bonner
of Kansas City, Mo; three sisters, Hannah Mae Wicks, Katie Pearson and Sarah Ann Williams,
all of Forrest City, and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be
at 2 pm Saturday, April 24, at Taylors Chapel C.M.E. Church with Rev Jessie Brown
officiating. Burial will be in Casteel Cemetery under the direction of Clay Funeral Home
of Forrest City. The body will lie in state from 10:30 am to 5 pm Friday, April 23, at
Clay Funeral Home.
