GWYN BRATTON
6 23 1905-3 20 1993

Mr Thomas Gwyn Bratton of Forrest City died Saturday, March 20, 1993, at Baptist Memorial
Hospital-Forrest City. He was 87. Mr Bratton was born June 23, 1905 in Grenada, Miss to
Amos Gwyn Bratton and Minnie Augusta Harper Bratton. He had lived in Forrest City for the
past 50 years. He was a retired teacher, a member of the First United Methodist Church, a
Gideon and a member of the Arkansas Education Association. He was preceded in death by his
wife, Dale McElroy Bratton in 1988. He leaves two sons, John T Bratton of Billings, Mont
and Donald Edward of Little Rock; a brother, Samuel I Bratton of Earle; and four
grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March
24 at 2 pm at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev Glen Pettus officiating. Burial
will be in Forrest Park Cemetery under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home. Memorials
may be made to First United Methodist Church.
